The PUMA Ralph Sampson Goes Wild
Earlier this year, teamed up with the loose and progressive to breathe life back into the iconic PUMA and give it some new legs – literally. Now that the fire of hype still burns bright for the 1980s silhouette, PUMA have decided to give it a wider release with the animal-print adorning ‘Wild Pack’.
Named after the No.1 overall pick in the 1983 NBA Draft, the Ralph Sampson will be returning soon in both a mid and low cut. Though the low is fully dressed in smooth white leather, and the mid is covered in a textured black nubuck, both pairs carry a consistent design theme with a prominent animal print feature, golden PUMA branding, and the words ‘DESIGN PUMA GERMANY’ printed on the tongue.
