Nike continues to grace their Hall of Fame silhouettes with VaporMax tech, alongside brand new builds like the Utility. The latest project from the Swoosh sits somewhere in between, hybridising an unexpected vintage from the 1990s: Gary Payton’s Air Zoom GP.
Of course, the Nike VaporMax Premier Flyknit runs along the silhouette’s uppers, and applies some delicate transitions to a classic sneaker. An extra layer of cushioning above the VaporMax unit offers some more air time, while the lace-free, mid-foot strap clamps down on your toes for a snug fit.
A repositioning of the mudguard unit (to the medial sides) completes the host of changes set to drop in two colourways (grey and black).
Stay tuned for confirmed release dates.
