The Nike LeBron 16 'Martin' is a Tribute to LeBron James' Favourite Sitcom

may be missing out on NBA Playoff action this season, but that hasn’t stopped from dropping of his ever-popular signature sneaker.

The King will have plenty of time over the off-season to catch up on reruns of his favourite 90s sitcom Martin, starring comedian and LeBron’s long-time buddy Martin Lawrence — and he’ll be able to do it rocking a special pair inspired by the show.

The LeBron 16 ‘Martin’ wears a ‘Royal Purple’ scheme with yellow and orange accents, similar to the shades seen on the opening theme’s logo. Look to the heel and you’ll find classic quotes from the show, which we’re sure LeBron can recite word-for-word.
