The Nike Air Max 270 React is a Concoction of Comfort Technology
The all-new is a match made in Swoosh heaven. Nike have combined two of their most comfort-packed innovations into one super stylish silhouette, fusing the lifestyle-geared 270 Air unit into a midsole constructed with energy-returning React foam.
The end result is arguably the cushiest Air Max sneaker ever, and also one of the most energetic in its aesthetic.
There’s plenty of talk about in the sole, but the Air Max 270 React’s upper is simply a sight a behold, with intricate layering of no-sew materials working to mirror a traditional cut-and-sew look. It’s a fresh construction methodology, but one that Nike continue to flex in their latest creations.
‘Instead of no-sew or stitched-on panels, the Air Max 270 React is built with a bar tack technique inspired by the Element React 87,’ explains Dylan Raasch, Nike Senior Sportswear Design Director. ‘This creates the floating eye-stay aesthetic.’
Each of the three debut colourways share a consistent foundation in art and design history, influenced by individual artistic styles or movements in their blocking and hues. Regardless of which one you choose to rock, you better be prepared to make a bold statement.
