The New Balance Made in USA line calls on inspiration from the deep south for its latest 997 colourway. Based on one of the region’s most popular alcoholic cocktails — Mint Julep — the premium textile upper is dressed in a pastel green/blue designed to mimic the frosty beverage’s ice, sugar and mint.
The super-fresh scheme isn’t just limited to the famed ‘N’ logo upper, with the ENCAP-infused sole unit also getting dipped for an all-over look that breaks the Made in USA status quo.
Pairs are available now from select New Balance retailers like Sneaker Politics.
