This upcoming ‘Hare 2.0’ Air Jordan 7 is by no means the first use of animal fur textures on a sneaker, but it’s definitely one of the most unique applications. A more literal take on the Bugs Bunny/Space Jam/Air Jordan crossover, Jordan Brand have released official imagery to fully grasp the concept.
In true ‘wabbit’ wears, the grey faux fur texture covers the entire upper, save for pink shaded neoprene booties and ankle tabs. A SKU code appears on the lateral heel counter, referencing the OG ‘Hare’. Nice touch.
Rabbit feet are considered lucky charms, and perhaps you’ll need all the luck you can muster to obtain a pair when they release, as expected, on April 8.
