The FUTUR x Mizuno GV87s are Minimalist Perfection
The latest collaboration between Paris fashion label and Japanese sportswear brand has just surfaced, delivering a perfect example of minimalist design, premium quality, and undeniable wearability.
Dressing the late-80s GV87 in simple black and white colourways, this colab is all about getting back to basics, rather than referencing some of FUTUR’s wilder patterns and colour-blocking designs.
Plush suede tonal uppers contrast nicely against the geometric textures of the lightweight mesh, while subtle colour pops appear on the heel thanks to a turquoise splash (on the white) and a dash of chilli red (on the black).
Detailed touches include FUTUR branding on the woven tongue label and footbed, plus a woven flag label on the heel wrap – also used on the Parisian brand’s heavyweight tees.
