Much revered, the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ returned to shelves over the weekend after a seven-year hiatus. Jordan Brand took their time bringing back the iconic baller, but it looks like the gang in Beaverton knew exactly what they were doing, with sources suggesting the release was the biggest single-sneaker release of all time.
Rapper/actor turned sneaker sleuth Jacques Slade AKA Kustoo recently Tweeted out a claim that the weekend 'Concord' drop was the ‘the single largest sneaker drop in industry history’.

At this stage, it’s unclear what ‘largest’ actually entails, or if the statement is actually true. Is it the highest-selling sneaker ever? Were there more units produced than any other? Was the distribution wider than anything we’ve seen? Details are cloudy at this point.
