We’ve seen the ‘Bred' and ‘Royal’ colourways get retro releases in recent years, but fans of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shadow’ have been hanging out for a revival since 2013. Answering their call, Jordan Brand revealed that the underrated ‘Shadow’ AJ1 will be back April 14.
We get our first official look at the 2018 iteration via photos from retailer Jimmy Jazz. As expected, the classic colour-block palette consists of black with contrasting grey. It’s difficult to tell at this stage, but the grey appears to be slightly darker than that of the 2013 release.
Constructed with premium leather uppers, we’ll have to wait to see whether the quality matches the high standard of recent retro Air Jordan 1 releases.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shadow’ hits select Jordan Brand retailers April 14, with a retail price tag of $160 USD. These won’t sit on shelves long — without a shadow of a doubt.
