The trail takeover isn’t imminent: it’s happening. And New Balance are at the forefront of this off-road movement, introducing new silhouettes like the Hierro v5, but also bringing back archive models such as the 801.
With a cosmetic facelift, new colourways and branding are present on the 1998 model, namely the ‘All Terrain’ moniker. New and old materials are present here: ballistic nylon, mesh and translucent panels. Of course, it’s not a trail sneaker without splatter details on the midsole.
Two very 90s colourways are out now from New Balance Japan, featuring clashing earth tones and neon accents.
