The 2000s Are Back: adidas Microbounce T1
2020 would herald the return of more 2000s silhouettes? It turns out that’s coming true, with the retro of the Microbounce T1. Seriously, did we wake up and it’s 2008 all over again?
Microbounce technology was a matured and minimalised version of earlier adi midsoles, like the a3 Megaride and Megabounce. Now that no one is likely to run in the T1, it’s got retro appeal in its brightly coloured synthetic makeup and quirky cushioning system.
They’re pretty fun, and definitely evoke some wistful nostalgia for 2000s sneakerheads who weren’t busy chasing retros. Coming to adidas on March 6.
