However, this doesn't make him immune to catching a case of that persistent  virus that's been spreading through the streetwear community. Taking to Instagram, Murakami seemed pretty satisfied with the latest addition to his sneaker collection: a pair of custom Off-White x .

We can't blame Murakami for flexing several shots of these on the 'Gram. We'd bet a lot of money that even the commenters most dedicated to spewing hate whenever Virgil Abloh's colab with is mentioned would be stoked to snap up these sought-after sharpie customs.

Will Abloh and Murakami's friendship blossom into an collaborative venture? Considering Virgil's handed out quite a few of these to friends and celebrities, probably not. But we can hope.
