Collaborations are hot with just about every apparel and footwear brand – erryone is out here looking for a big name to have a 'x' with. Ain't nobody know more about that little x than Stella McCartney though, she's a true OG in the collaboration game, lending her name and brain to H&M, Target and Disney and more, but she started the glory run in 2004 by hooking up with the visionaries at the Three Stripes. She's still in bed with 'em and this adidas Ultra Boost is the love child, and it's definitely a favourite to take out the blue ribbon at the next sneaker pageant. McCartney rarely frames her pieces within the antediluvian 'feminine' aesthetic of pink pops and lollipops, and this drop is no different. Dusky pink, black, and grey knit uppers with striped patterns bust our brains open but somehow circumvent the garish tag, and the bubbly white sole and black outsole restores some serious order to the sneak. You love it? Kith have got 'em on deck now.
