It’s been a long time coming, but the Air Jordan 4 ‘Motorsport’ make-up is finally set to release to the public. The seed of the colourway comes from Michael Jordan’s love for motorbike racing – something that cautious NBA contracts stopped him from indulging in at first, but which he eventually had a hand in with Michael Jordan Motorsports. It’s the blue and white worn by that team of riders that eventually ended up on this revered AJ4.
To celebrate the release of the colourway this year, Soleheaven have put together a short film with Jason ‘The Wheelie’ King, who tears through streets on a Suzuki GSX-R1000 – the same model ridden by the Michael Jordan Motorsports team. Catch him doing burnouts on the powerful beast with the AJ4 in the foreground here, and follow Soleheaven on Instagram for more updates.
The Air Jordan 4 ‘MotorSport 2017 Retro’ will be available on March 25 from Soleheaven.
