Gary Payton played NBA for almost 20 years, and a good chunk of that was with the Seattle SuperSonics. Although he would win his only championship with Miami Heat late in his career, Seattle still holds him as their own and Payton is cool with that, he even said the whole city was his "throne" when he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this year. So when our friendly foes Sole Collector nabbed the chance to colab on Payton's signature shoe, 'The Glove', they knew they had to rep the extinct team hard. They even hollered at Payton himself for help and he demanded, 'No brick. Classic Sonics colors!' So green and yellow was always gonna be the palette to punish, but that's not a guarantee of success, the SC team really worked this well. Slashes of black on across the sheeny upper and zipper bringing some real danger. Green and yellow never looked so deadly, we dig it! The Sole Collector x Nike Zoom Air Flight The Glove 'Sonic Wave' hits Nike.com and a select few Nike stores across the USA this Saturday.
