After dropping the critically acclaimed 'Datamosh' pack back in 2017, Sneakersnstuff and adidas have reunited for a followup to the colab. Aptly dubbed the 'Datamosh 2.0', the 2018 drop once again uses the NMD_R1 as a canvas and takes inspiration from datamoshing — a process of data corrupting and manipulating where moving images are being moshed together to achieve visual effects — to employ a pixelated camo-like graphic throughout the shoe's Primeknit uppers. This year's release comes in 'Blue Night' and Maroon/Blush Green colourways with stark white BOOST midsoles, matching plugs, and white rubber outsoles.
SNS even tapped UK-based video directors Tim and Barry to come up with the visual campaign for the release while SNS's NYC store, as well as online streaming platform Just Jam, will host a release party and live broadcast on September 20.
The 'Datamosh 2.0' pack will officially release in stores and online on September 22.
