UK retailer have to uncover adidas’ iconic Kegler Super low-top.
Garnering somewhat of a cult status in the 80s, the silhouette was designed for athletes playing Keglen (a German style of nine-pin bowling), with an innovative peg system proving popular among bowlers at the time for its ability to adjust the cushioning levels manually. A reinforced toe cap was also included to account for bowlers dragging their toes across the surface. This exclusive retro comes with the same reinforced toe cap and cushioning peg system underfoot, but a classic hexagonal outsole has been added for tailored traction.
