Six pairs of one of the most elusive sneaker models on earth have reportedly been found in an expired storage unit in Albany, Oregon. A unit containing six pairs of  Mags was allegedly purchased for just $75 before being sold on to some lucky sneaker enthusiasts.

One of those fortunate buyers allegedly heard about the sale of the 2011 Mags on OfferUp. ‘I personally didnt find the unit,’ he told Complex. ‘I found the guy on OfferUp and I thought it was too good to be true but gave it a shot, I messaged him and he had three pairs left after selling three others, so six total were in the unit.’

The buyer didn’t disclose how much he paid for the deadstock 2011 edition of the Nike Mag, but went on to sell one of the three pairs on StockX for $10,000.

The Nike Mag was famously modelled on the sneakers worn by Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part II. In the 2011 release 1,500 pairs were produced, while a further 89 self-lacing pairs dropped in 2016.
