Run DMC x adidas Superstar 50th Anniversary Collaboration Rumoured for April

It looks like a special 50th anniversary adidas collaboration with could be on the way. Considering the Three Stripes linked up with the hip-hop legends on the 25th and 35th anniversaries of the iconic silhouette, we’re not surprised to hear to the rumours.

Slated to arrive in three colorways – black, white and a black/white – you can expect an adidas logo and the face of the late Jam Master Jay on the tongue. Meanwhile, the familiar Superstar branding next to the Three Stripes will mimic the group’s iconic logo. It’s also predicted the sneaker is designed to be worn with or without laces, in true Run-DMC style.

No official pics or info have surfaced, but you can pencil in April for a release. We’ll bring you details as they emerge.
