Rumoured: Nike is Reviving the Air Max Plus III
Last year was huge for Tuned Air, with the seven-bubbled Big Daddy celebrating its 20th anniversary with a slew of blockbuster releases. Now it’s rumoured that will resurrect the cult favourite III.
With its sweeping veins and wild heel counter, the TN3 was always a polarising silhouette, but after last year's Air Max Plus frenzy, this retro is sure to please new and old adlays alike.
Recent Max revivals have suffered a lukewarm reception from purists thanks to incorrect details (we’re thinking the with a 95 sole unit), so it will be interesting to see how Nike approach the extra bubbly heel unit. By the looks of the outsole, it will be a faithful reproduction. Fingers crossed!
Initial leaks suggest we’ll get at least three colourways – OG Blue, black, and blue and green – but no doubt more will follow.
No word on a release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
