Ronnie Fieg Teases ASICS Gel-Diablo Collaboration
UPDATE: The x GEL-Diablo has been revealed! The mastermind posted the first full image of his next ASICS colab to , showing it to be a subdued combination of neutral hues injected with primary pops of vivid red and regal blue. The source of inspiration behind the colourway remains a mystery at this stage.

In a double drop of unexpected announcements, it seems that not only are set to resurrect the GEL-Diablo silhouette, but the model will also form the basis of 's next colab with the brand. A rather obscure and long-forgotten sneaker from the mid-90s, the GEL-Diablo featured a tough mesh, leather and microsuede upper atop a wavy GEL-packed midsole. An image posted today to Fieg's , featuring a GEL-Diablo tongue with 'RF' lace loop, seems to suggest ASICS have finally revived the model from the archives and will be paying retro dues to the silhouette in collaboration with the head honcho. No images of the actual colab have been revealed, beyond a white mesh tongue with red piping, but feast your eyes on these images of the OG from to whet your appetite.
Fieg supplied no details together with the image, so release details are a complete mystery at this stage. We'll keep you posted with further developments.
