In modern sports, it's become commonplace for the likes of NBA stars and pro-skaters to receive their own signature sneaker. When it comes pro-wrestling, however, it's a virtually untapped market. All that is set to change next month though, when The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment himself – Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson – debuts his very own silhouette.
First revealed to the world back in August, the shoe, dubbed the Rock Delta, is a black mid-top crosstrainer featuring The Rock's signature bull logo at the heel in golden yellow. The People's Champ confirmed the model will roll out on April 5 as part of the Project Rock Collection, which features innovative performance footwear and apparel. The announcement was made , accompanied by an intense workout video showing the shoes in action.
