King James is yet to retire, but his old beaters are already bursting off the bench. Nike have already retroed a few of LeBron's early Air Zoom Generations, and they're now set to release a sample that even early-2000s consumers couldn't get their hands on.
The Air Zoom Generation 'SVSM' sample was created as a tribute to James' Akron high school: St. Vincent-St. Mary H.S. While the model never made it to store shelves, the high school's Fighting Irish team hues combine to make one of the nicest colourways to hit the Zoom Generation.
The model is slated for an April 2018 release, but no exact drop date has been announced. With Kyrie now playing for the Celtics, it'd be fun to see LeBron wear these Irish-themed sneakers in a match-up against his former friend-turned-foe.
