Legendary NBA shooter Ray Allen was one of the five OG players to be selected by Michael Jordan to join the Jordan Brand player roster in 1997, and it looks like he’s still getting signature Jays well into his retirement. Paying homage to his 2018 Hall of Fame induction, the Air Jordan 7 ‘Ray Allen’ is set to hit shelves this northern Summer.
A combination of the two Air Jordan 7 Player Exclusive colourways (Home and Away) he rocked in 2002 as part of the Milwaukee Bucks, the new sneaker wears Black, ‘Fierce Purple’, and ‘Dark Steel Grey’. A Black nubuck upper replaces the leather from ‘02, while the purple and grey touches the midsole. A bold branding hit comes via a purple Jumpman logo on the ankle.
The Air Jordan 7 ‘Ray Allen’ releases on June 22 at select Jordan Brand retailers and NDC for $190.
