Reformation Unveil Sustainable New Balance Collaboration
Sustainable fashion is all the rage these days, and rightfully so. Few brands, however, have gone as far as Reformation. The womenswear label doesn't just produce sustainable products: it's 100 per cent carbon-, water-, and waste-neutral.
That's what makes Reformation's newly unveiled collaboration with such a treat. Featuring a trio of colourways along with special editions of the and , the colab is highlighted by the likes of post-consumer recycled polyester, chrome-free tanning, and bloom algae inserts. The result is a colab – Reformation's first in the realm of footwear – that fits in perfectly with the brand's defining ethos.
'The industry is in need of some serious systemic change and we want to be a part of solutions to clean up the industry, whether that’s helping to develop new closed-loop fibers, ensuring living wages for our factory workers or innovating more-efficient dye practices,' explained Reformation founder and CEO Yael Aflalo to .
