Before the dab there was Dee Brown. The former Celtics point guard took the Slam Dunk Contest to a whole new level when he raised his elbow over his eyes and stunned the world with a 'no look' dunk in 1991's face-off. One of the greatest dunks in the history of the competition without question, Brown's choice of footwear on court remains as memorable as the dunk itself.
Laced up in a black and white pair of Reebok Pump Omi Lites, Brown made a now legendary pause on court to hit the big basketball-shaped mechanism on the tongue and squeeze a little bit of extra air into his kicks. In celebration of All Star Weekend 2017, Reebok have brought back the famed model in OG form. While it was only a few years back that we last saw these on shelves, from the tumbled leather upper to the bright orange Pump, this is one All Star retro we're more than happy to see return.
The Reebok Pump Omni Lite 'Dee Brown' is available to purchase right now through Sneaker Politics.
