Rare, Autographed Air Jordan 7s Hit the Market

July 12, 2017

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to walk a mile in Michael Jordan’s shoes, here’s your chance to find out. Former Gatorade VP and Olympic javelin medallist Bill Schmidt has listed his sports memorabilia collection for auction; included is this pair of ‘Cardinal’ Air Jordan 7s worn and autographed by His Airness himself.

Despite being older than most people lining up for weekend sneaker releases, the shoes are in great condition. The patina of time has developed in places but MJ’s John Hancock is still intact. The only downside is that bidding – as you’d expect – is set to venture into the thousands. Still, when it comes artefacts of the Jordan era, this is a rare opportunity.

You can bid on the Air Jordan 7s through Steiner Sports, though we provide absolutely no guarantee these shoes will last a mile-long walk.
