Canada’s Raised By Wolves are adding another sneaker collaboration to their solid vault. This time it’s with American neighbours , on the underrated silhouette.
Inspired by the ‘Asphalt Jungle’ of urban Canada, the street-stalking theme is expressed with its grey palette. On the surface, it may just look like a flat grey upper, but it actually uses almost a dozen different materials. The multilayered construction lends itself to the mix of meshes and leather types for a deeply subtle execution.
As this is an exercise in subtlety, it might be easy to miss the zippered stash pocket hidden in the tongue – but perhaps that’s the point. Despite this hotly debated topic, RBW say it’s their tribute to skater Chad Muska’s shoes from the 90s.
