2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the world's most beloved toy car brand: Hot Wheels. Parent company Mattel have gone all out this year to mark the occasion, releasing all manner of special release vehicles, but now they are giving die-cast diehards a chance to flaunt their passion everywhere they go, teaming up with PUMA to release a special commemorative colab version of the all-new RS-X.
Nicknamed 'Bone Shaker', after one of the most beloved castings in the Hot Wheels line, the designs plays it surprisingly low-key for a toy colab. However, it's certainly a welcome surprise we should clarify, allowing you to rep your love for the once 'fastest metal cars in the world' without sacrificing style. The largely black design comes accented with Hot Wheels' signature blue and yellow tones, and comes equipped with 50th anniversary detailing on the tongue and Hot Wheels x PUMA branding on the heel.
No release details have been announced for the Hot Wheels x PUMA RS-X at this stage, but the shoe has been officially unveiled at this year's SEMA Automotive Tradeshow in Las Vegas. Hopefully these won't be as scarce as a Super Treasure Hunt!
