Last year, Pizza Hut made the most important technological development in footwear since the invention of laces: a sneaker that delivers pizza. We thought they wouldn’t be able to improve on their masterpiece, but, somehow, they’ve done it. Just revealed, the Pietop II beats anything that's come out Speedfactory or the Innovation Kitchen – it has a button that pauses the television FFS!
Introducing #PieTops II. One button orders pizza. Another button pauses your TV so you don't miss a thing during #MarchMadness. pic.twitter.com/wtohS3x4tV

Pizza Hut made two colourways this time — one for marina and one for buttery crusts — and enlisted The Shoe Surgeon to put them together. They feature ‘cheese grater’ mesh on the sides, guards fashioned to look like marina splashes, and buttons on either foot that use Bluetooth to link to your TV and Pizza Hut app.
You’ll be able to grab the Pietop II on March 19 through Hypebeast’s HBX store, though only 50 will be available. Keep it locked to Pizza Hut and Hypebeast’s social channels over the next two weeks, as they’ll be dishing out more release info.
