Paris-based Pigalle and Nike have a longstanding collaborative relationship, teaming up for a number of sneakers and apparel collections, not to mention a basketball court in the French capital. Now, to celebrate the opening of a brand new Pigalle x Nike basketball court in Bejing, the two have joined forces for an unexpected new colab – one that's highlighted by a new range of Swoosh apparel and two special takes on the Converse Chuck 70.
The vibrant Chucks echo the aesthetic of the colourful new court, which features NIKE GRIND construction utilising over 45,000 pairs of recycled shoes. While one version of the Chuck 70 sports a gradient upper, the other is a playful take on the natural canvas OG. Both are marked by splashes of deep purple, neon red, and pastel green throughout, as well as 'THE POWER OF SPORT TO MOVE THE WORLD' text around the heel of the midsole wrap.
Both the Chucks and the Nike apparel drop November 7, but there's more on the way, too: that same day will see the launch of Pigalle's All Star Pro BB, so stay tuned for an official look at those ahead of the release.
