Pharrell x adidas' Solar Hu Glide for 'Chinese New Year'
is clearly having a ‘happy’ Chinese New Year in 2019. He’s already announced a celebratory , and now he’s given the Solar Hu Glide the matching treatment with a vibrant ‘Vermilion’ upper.
The ‘Vermilion’ hits the mesh forefoot, eyestays and heel, while a black gridded midfoot overlay offers up a bold contrast. More black hits occur on the sole panel just above the full-length BOOST midsole, as a ‘Hu’ logo on the lateral side pops through for a subtle branding hit. Of course, it wouldn’t be a ‘CNY’ release without some gold, and it comes through via the borders and adidas tongue logo.
