The ongoing partnership between adidas and Parley for the Oceans sets the standard for eco innovation within the footwear industry.
The Stripes' main breakthrough consists of proprietary Primeknit constructed using Parley’s special yarns, ingeniously made using recycled plastic scooped straight out of the seas.
The latest recycled revelation boasts the sock-like upper of an NMD_CS1, drawing on the plastic-bag aesthetic but to wholly refined effect.
Calming sea-foam blue is interspersed with black stripes across the guilt-free upper, while a bubbly white BOOST sole ensures the foot feels as good as the conscience.
The Parley for the Oceans x adidas NMD_CS1 drops at select stockists on March 31 – hit up their web store to do your bit for the future of our planet.
