UPDATE: The super-limited Air Max 1 has hit the streets of Paris and they look magnifique! Chances are you've already missed out (only 50 pairs were available), so you'll just have to be happy with one last look before you bid the Bespoke adieu.
To celebrate the fashion festivities happening in Paris, Nike have created an ultra-limited pair of Air Max 1 'Bespoke' – an exclusive for the City of Love. Usually reserved for those lucky – or cashed up – enough to score an appointment at London's 1948 NikeLab or NYC's 21 Mercer flagship, where your custom Nike dreams come true, this rare-breed Swoosh will be available during next month's Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Of the 75 made, 25 will be allocated to friends and family, meaning there'll only be 50 to divvy up among the rest of us via Nike's French online store.
Designed by two Parisian entrants in the NIKEiD designer contest, the luxurious AM1 features premium croc-embossed leather atop beautiful suede panels that utilise muted tones. The initials of the designers are included on the insole, with 'Paris' stitched into the heel panel as well and each one individually numbered. In addition – like with all Nike Bespoke creations – premium detailing on the lacing, swing tag and dubrae complement the overall sneaker. The exceptional-execution coupled with the extreme rarity of this release will make this one of the most sought after Air Maxes in recent memory!
The Nike Air Max 1 Bespoke Women's 'Paris' will be available online from July 3 for 280 euro.
