Six collaborations deep, we at long last arrive at the seventh and final entry in Diadora's ambitious 'From Seoul to Rio' Collection. For their contribution, New Jersey locals Packer have focused on the core symbol of the Olympic Games – the Olympic Rings. Their iconic colours adorn the Intrepid in bold fashion. The upper is rendered in black leather and suede, with the model's four leather form-stripes coloured-up individually in red, green, blue and yellow. The colour split is represented on the tongue tags in mismatched fashion and debossed Packer branding has been applied to the heels. A crisp white midsole and gum outsole add a welcome bit of stability to this vibrant colab, while golden lace tips add a touch of decadence. The unity of the Games is further represented on the insoles with a collage of flags from around the world.
As with all releases in the ‘From Seoul to Rio’ Collection, these Italian-made kicks are limited to just 500 pairs worldwide. They will release alongside a full apparel collection, featuring a duffle bag, jersey, track jacket and two different cap designs. Flick through the images below for a full look at the apparel offerings.
The Packer x Diadora Intrepid 'From Seoul to Rio' Colllection will be available August 20 through both of Packer's bricks and mortar locations, as well as online at PackerShoes.com.
