It's interesting how the slightest change to a classic pair of kicks can make you see it in a totally different light. Be it a squarer toe box on a pair of runners, the removal of a strap, or even just a slight change of material, sometimes a small tweak can just make you pause in confusion for a moment – sometimes good, though often for the worse. Packer Shoes have once again gone back to the Reebok Aztec for inspiration, tackling the Insta Pump Fury with the quintessential '70s colour palette that graced the OG. To truly tie the homage back to its roots, Packer has taken a trip into the quirky, including three sets of laces that can be woven through the typically-laceless upper. By Packer's own account, the laces are 'not at all' functional, but hot damn they actually look good. These are releasing exclusively through Packer Shoes on August 8.
