UPDATE: To simply call this collection a 'Packer x Ewing' collaboration is only part of the truth. In actuality, the 'Miracle on 33rd St.' collection is a collaboration of Fantastic 4 proportions! Packer, Ewing, Starter and New Era have come together to bring the sneakerheads of New York top-to-toe Knicks-branded heat for the holidays. Alongside the Ewing 33 Hi, Packer are also dropping a slew of apparel. Starter have produced a white satin jacket and black parka for the occasion, while New Era have fabricated two different fitteds and a NY logo beanie. Packer have also produced their own themed tee reppping the 33. The complete collection will be available on December 17th at a special release event to be held at Packer Shoes' Jersey City location from 6-9pm. Any leftover stock will made available in-store at Packer's Teaneck location, as well as online at PackerShoes.com.
It's a most wonderful time of the year to be a sneakerhead, because all kinds of kicks are dropping in stores every damn day as part of the annual celebration of accumulating more crap. This new Ewing 33 Hi rendition, which was designed in collaboration with Joisey Boi Mike Packer is far from crappy, though. Its gorgeous white Christmas leather upper is trimmed with red, green and gold and is rounded out by sticky gum soles. A complementary apparel pack features some sick New York Knickerbockers merch too. Stay with us for release info for this special drop very soon.
