Packer Land a Grand Slam With New Diadora Colab
A Grand Slam is always a good excuse for a special sneaker release, and the crew at are celebrating the latest in style. To commemorate the 2018 US Open, Packer bring us a two-shoe colab influenced by the legendary runners and tennis shoes of the early 90s. The colab, dubbed the 'ON/OFF' Collection, encompasses sublime period-correct make-ups of the and Rebound Ace, made under the theme of on- and off-court wear.
The Rebound Ace — the 'ON' component of the collection — draws inspiration from Diadora's own US Open kits from 1991 and has been assembled beautifully in Italy from a combination of kangaroo leather, tumbled leather and mesh. The collection's 'OFF' entry — the N9002 — embraces the same Italian construction with a white, blue and fluro orange colour combo. This deliciously vintage-inspired runner features a combination of premium leathers, suedes and mesh, as well as hits of 3M for pop. Both come finished with custom heel loops, lace dubraes, and tongue logo branding.
