Our 10 Favourite Sneakers at JD Sports Highpoint Opening
Date: November 06 2017

Venturing beyond Melbourne's CBD, JD Sports, the King of Trainers, have claimed a prime plot of crown land in Highpoint Shopping Centre.
Thanks to our high standing among the courtiers of the kickdom, we were granted an early peek at the stockpile of releases that will dominate shelves on opening day, and we thought we’d pay it forward by sharing a snapshot of the sneakers on offer to get your tongues waggin’ and tastebuds tinglin’.
Seeing as you’ve already navigated your way here through the winding labyrinth of the world wide web, we can safely assume you’re no stranger to the VaporMax. Perhaps the most talked about release of the year, the big bubble Nike has been a hard one to capture. Popular colourways continue to sell out week after week, but none more quickly than the famous ‘Triple Black’. Yet somehow, the powers that be over at JD have assembled a battalion of the blacked-out bad boys for the early birds to snap up at Highpoint. And they'll be backed up by a bunch of other VaporMax colourways and a squad of solid sold out Air Max 97s!
Of course, the JD juggernaut hasn’t forgotten about the throngs of Three Stripe fiends fixing for a fresh hit of BOOST. Among the generous selection of NMDs and UltraBOOSTs you’ll find some premium Primeknit glitch camo gems, as well as the highly prized murdered-out ‘Japan BOOST’ NMD_R1.
If you're looking for something outside our top 10, don’t worry, there will be plenty more on offer when the doors open at JD Sports Highpoint on November 9. You don't want to risk missing out on these rarified releases, so be first across the threshold at 9am sharp!
