It’s no secret that Nike love a tribute release. Whether they drop a 1-1 retro or remix a favourite colourway, they’re well known for mining their archives for inspiration.
For their latest celebration of the old guard, the Swoosh are tipping their hat to the Air Force 1 High ‘Rose’ from 2002.
In 2018, the AF-1 arrives as a low-top and switches the original black patent finish for soft velvet in the same shady hue. The eponymous rose remains in the same place, tucked at the heel, for a subtle floral hit. Premium finishes like gold aglets and gold ‘2018’ dubraes add the final opulent flourishes to this fine Force.
