On-Foot Look: Afew x Beams x ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Orange Koi’

If you were to rank top colabs of all time, you’d be hard-pressed to go past 2015’s ‘Koi’. So, when news hit that they were reuniting for another GEL, this time bringing into the mix, expectations were high. We needn’t have worried — the ‘Orange Koi’ delivers big time.

Swathed in smooth and shaggy suedes, these GELs follow the colour-blocking pattern of this first, but swap the red for vibrant orange in a nod to the famous Japanese fish.

The latest 360-degree view gives us a good look at the finer details. Co-branding touches come by way of Beams and Afew logos, while heel patches carrying the kanji for Koi and a world map cement the brands’ partnership.
