UPDATE: It was all the way back in June 2016 that we found out that collaboration between fashion label Off-White and English sportswear brand Umbro was on the way. Now, almost a year after its first reveal, the Off-White x Umbro Coach has landed.
In line with Off-White's typically high price-point, this is one colab that will cost you a pretty penny even before it hits the resell market, but if your wallet's feeling a little on the heavy side, you can head on over to Packer right now to cop your pair. Hopefully we won't be left waiting quite so long until Off-White's upcoming collaborations with the Swoosh hit shelves...
We're always happy when Umbro pop up with something fresh, so we’re especially pleased that it’s Virgil Abloh’s Off-White label that has co-signed this latest release. The Off-White x Umbro ‘Coach’ sneaker takes cues from Umbro's football heritage – with a quilted upper designed to knock about the soccer ball, and a flat sole more suited to life on the boundaries. The shoe has been dipped heel-to-toe in a not-so-bright (off?) white. An otherwise low-key colab, the heel counter has been branded with the Off-White logo, leaving us with a clean casual sneaker.
There isn’t much info on the release of the Off-White x Umbro Coach Sneaker just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
