UPDATE: The plot thickens! Virgil Abloh's rumoured Off White x Nike Air Force 1 colab has surfaced yet again on the 'gram – this time on his personal account. Captioned 'Temporary' (perhaps as the name of the colourway) the image shows almost the same model that Ian Connor previewed. The new pair appears to be missing the blue tab above the silver Swoosh that we'd seen previously, and a 'Nike Air' logo seems to have been added to the tongue. Nothing concrete can be deduced from this, but it's possible that the alterations mean Abloh is getting closer to a final product. Stay tuned and we'll let you know when more info is available.
As the captains of industry are all up in Miami enjoying the festive atmosphere of Art Basel, we sit on edge as one by one the releases are ‘Grammed and tweeted from the cultural hub. The latest thing to leap from the glistening North Atlantic Horizon is Off-White’s upcoming colab with Nike. Images courtesy @NYDoorman have given us the best view of the sneaker so far. In keeping with the brand’s industrialist aesthetic the black Air Force 1 has a metallic Swoosh and a few sans-serif spell-outs, just in case you mistake your shoelace for some kind of foot-based flatworm.
No official launch info on the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 just yet, we’ll keep you posted.
