UPDATE: Word is the AJ10 side of this pack finally saw a plebeian release, albeit only for a select few lucky folks loitering near the OVO pop-up shop in Los Angeles. A few pics have popped up of the 10s on Instagram, some pairs have even headed straight for eBay, so there were definitely some Stringray 10s doled out in LA. But was it really a general "drop", as some blogs are saying? We've seen pics from users @estrella_re and @riflosangeles, and they're the kind of people who are likely to be in with the OVO squad or Jordan Brand, not your errryday sneaker fiends roaming the street type. Either way, not many pairs were sold, so don't get too excited about your chances. We'll keep you informed if anything changes.
Cue the pandemonium, it looks like Drake's debut Air Jordan retro pack is getting a general release, maybe. Previously thought just to be a friends and family release, product shots of the black and white Air Jordan 10 and Air Jordan 12 'Stingrays' surfaced on Drizzy's October's Very Own blog over the weekend. There was no info attached, but we've got a hot feeling these will be hitting stores, and are slightly scared about the potential madness if they drop in small numbers. Sporting all black or all white uppers, mudguards feature a dimpled stingray-like texture, and come with OVO owl branding on the lining and an OVO text logo emblazoned on the icy outsole. How is the person who supposedly racked a hundred stacks on these feeling now? We'll bring you release info when/if we get it.
