UPDATE: It’s time to get up close and personal with the scholarly Norse Projects x New Balance 770 ‘Lucem Hafnia’ pack. They have revealed themselves to be some of the finest pieces of sneaker-craft to emerge in recent times – and with two clean, simple colourways like these, what’s not to love? If you’re quick, you can still pick up a pair of the Made in England 770s now from select stockists.
Norse Projects and New Balance have taken some architectural inspiration for their upcoming colab, drawing on visual cues from a Scandinavian institution. The University of Copenhagen’s main building has played as the muse for the two sombre 770s that make up the ‘Lucem Hafnia’ pack – dark brown reflecting the building’s wooden library shelves and off-white to match its rendered walls. The sneakers have been made in England with the highest quality nubuck and suede, while multi-density EVA soles give plenty of old-school comfort.
The Norse Projects x New Balance 770 ‘Lucem Hafnia’ pack will be available from May 13 at select stockists, including online from END.
