Japan's are already responsible for one of the most coveted collaborations of all time: the 'Dune' edition of the hybrid, which was by earlier this year for the debut of the . Now nonnative and NB are looking to recapture some of that magic on a different silhouette.
Coming soon is a special co-branded edition of the old . Intended to look like a used sneaker from the 1980s, the kicks feature distressed details and pre-yellow soles to go along with hairy grey suede construction, black accents, and the dashing 'NB' logo. nonnative designer Takayuki Fujii even added teal hits to the outsole as a nod to the aforementioned 'Dune' colab, while a thicker tongue and added elastic straps mean the kicks can be rocked with the laces loosened up or removed entirely.
