Release details for the military-themed assortment of big-bubble runners have been announced, but there's a catch — each make-up is exclusive to their country of origin! That means the only way to score a pair of the French make-up is through a French retailer, etc. To make things even more difficult, it appears Nike are restricting stockist sales to in-store only for one week, with remaining stock only allowed to be sold online a week later.
With country-specific colourways releasing for Japan, Italy, France, Germany, the UK and the USA, you'll either need to book yourself a round-the-world adventure if you want to score the lot — or at least be highly connected!
German retailer BSTN have just dropped a set of beautiful on-foot imagery of their local colourway and it is sure to bring tears to the eyes of Max-fanatics in the other 194 countries around the world.
The Nike Air Max 97 Country Camo Collection will see a staggered release for each colourway. Japan's make-up has already released, but the rest are still to come. The 'UK' AM97 is scheduled for December 19, 'Germany' on December 20, 'France' and 'USA' on December 21, and the 'Italy' on December 22.
All pairs will release through Nike.com in their respective regions, but unless your keyboard skills are up to scratch, you'll need to do things the old-fashioned way and hit up your local. Fingers crossed for a wider release, but don't hold your breath!
