Nike’s Flyknit Racer G is the equivalent of the original version after it hasn’t shaved for a week – it’s entirely familiar, yet a little rugged. The popular pavement pounder has been revised for running in rougher territory with the addition of a toothy tread pattern and a fused mudguard for protection. The midsole has a different profile to the traditional iteration while the knit pattern retains all the elements that we’ve come to love.
Although it may look tough, astute readers will have already connected the G suffix with Nike’s Golf range. That’s right, it’s a golf shoe. Who knew the fairway could look this good?
The Nike Flyknit Racer G drops on May 2 at select stockists.
