Nike's Blazer Is Back With a Vengeance
The has been the quiet achiever in the Swoosh’s arsenal. Until recently, it was seldom seen on the feet of hypebeasts, but its understated construction can work wonders with the right ‘fit. Cue the 2017 Virgil Abloh hysteria, and the humble Blazer is back on the radar.
After appearing in Abloh’s and upcoming , we are starting to see a trickle down of more wearable (not to mention accessible) iterations.
The latest ‘Sequoia’ comes in lush forest green suede with a tonal Swoosh down the side. And, of course, a shoe this earthy could only be sitting on a gum sole. Unexpected pink accents on the tongue tab and innersole add that certain je ne sais quoi and reminder us that it doesn’t have to be from the House of Abloh to be cool.
