So often, basketball shoes take all the limelight, but another sport has piqued the collective interest of the sneakerdom. Recent releases of Nike's Air DT Max 96 and the Air Max Speed Turf have signalled that NFL trainers are back in the game.
After a 'Chlorophyll' make-up was announced earlier this month, the Speed Turf is once again hitting the field, this time honouring one of the game’s greats: Dan Marino. The lifelong Miami Dolphin was a devotee of the strapped-up style, and so the team’s teal and gold are used liberally across the leather and mesh upper. A decent whack of Air and a forefoot strap ensure on-field comfort.
If you’re feeling these, you can grab them at select Nike stockists now.
